Hi my name is Ket Lilly.
I have been in the appliance repair business for just under 20 years.
Prior to a hiatus from
appliance repair I worked with my brother in a family owned company where I gained the majority of my experience. Many people don’t realize that appliance technicians that know what they are doing are rare. Not to be negative about my vocation but most individuals who become appliance repairman didn’t start out with that intention.
Many techs come from other fields and because appliances are generally speaking smaller versions of larger equipment it would seem that learning appliance repair would be simple. I was fortunate that my father was a factory trained G.E. technician and he taught me and my brother properly. That doesn’t mean I’m perfect. The truth is like in most areas of life we get better with experience. I do have bad days…we all do as technicians. True maturity comes when you can say “I don’t know but I will get an answer.”
I have seen many repairs in my time and I still see new things all the time. My goal is always to take the time to do it right the first time and if I fail to do so make it right in anyway that I can.
This is a new company I have started and my goal is to reach out to San Antonio residents that need service but don’t want to be taken to the cleaners for simple repairs. Beware of big page ads on the phone book or front page ads on Google search. We are all not the same. Some of these companies will rob you blind while others have to charge you more because of overhead.
I hope to help you avoid overpaying for repairs or even worse going out to but a new machine because you thought the repairs were too high.
